Jean J. Thibodeau graduates from McGill University and practices with a colleague under the firm name Thibodeau & Germain architects.

1942
Marc Thibodeau graduates from l’École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal and joins Jean J. under the firm name Thibodeau & Thibodeau architects.

1976-1978
Robert follows in his father’s footsteps and graduates from McGill’s School of Architecture in 1976.

1981-1983
Robert learns the ins and outs of Design-Build with architect Claude Gagnon in restoring heritage buildings in Old Montreal.

2000-2003
Robert moves to Vancouver to expand the firm’s geographical footing and acquires licence to practice in 9 of the 10 provinces.

2013
Looking forwards to pass the baton to the next generation, new partners join the Montreal team with Salah Tahri at the helm in Montreal.
